Improved video quality, better coverage, and branding enhancements: upgrades to our Auditorium
The Francis Crick Auditorium’s audiovisual setup has recently had two significant upgrades allowing us to deliver an outstanding audience experience.
Improvements to stage lighting
The stage lighting has been replaced with the latest in LED lighting technology, which offers a variety of benefits including improved, even coverage of light and adjustable colour balance, at a fraction of the electricity consumption. As well as positively impacting the overall look and feel of the room, this lighting upgrade noticeably improves video quality when live streaming and recording events.
We have also added a number of coloured lighting fixtures, which can be set to the client’s chosen colour, giving the space a subtle colour wash that can tie the space in with the client’s branding.
Projector upgrade
The Auditorium projector has been upgraded to the latest laser technology, providing fantastic colour reproduction, sharp text and images, and a 43% increase in image brightness.
Note: Additional lighting (the criss-cross effect) and staging were brought in for the event in the photographs.
